Top-10 Keywords
Top-10 Keywords counts how many of the search terms your site ranks for sit in positions 1 through 10 on Google — the first page — and expresses it as a share of everything you rank for. It's the quality measure that Total Ranking Keywords lacks: ranking for 200 terms sounds impressive until you learn that 190 of them are on page 3, where almost nobody clicks.
The first page matters because click behaviour is brutally top-heavy. Studies of billions of searches consistently show the top result taking roughly a quarter to a third of clicks, the top three taking more than half, and everything past position 10 sharing the scraps. For an online store, a product term on page 2 is effectively invisible; the same term at position 5 sends shoppers every day. CataSEO's approach follows from that: for every product, category and brand, study the ten pages currently on page 1, understand why they win, and write your page to beat them — whether you're starting from position 40, position 8, or defending position 1.
What it means for your store
Low (under 15%): visibility is theoretical — you rank, but not where anyone looks.
Working (15–35%): a real base, with most of your terms still off page 1.
Strong (over 35%): genuinely findable; growth comes from adding terms, not rescuing them.
Why it matters
Rankings only pay on page 1. This turns "we rank for 19 keywords" into "3 of them send shoppers."
How CataSEO helps
For every product, category and brand it optimizes, CataSEO studies the ten pages currently on page 1 for that search — wherever you rank today — works out what makes them win, and writes your page to beat them. Not on page 1: get you there. On page 1: move you up. Already #1: make the page so much better that nobody can displace you.
What you can do yourself
Open the ten pages on page 1 and match what they do, product by product: a title and headline that name the item the way shoppers search for it; a description that covers what it is, who it's for, what it's made of, sizing and how it's used; the questions buyers actually ask, answered on the page; price, availability and specs as text, not images; product structured data search engines and AI tools can read; descriptive image alt text; links to the page from your category and brand pages; and reviews. Do it for one product and you'll know what it takes for the rest.
